Ahhhh.  The infamous first post.  No idea what to say or if anyone will ever read my blog.  They said it was a good idea to blog, so here I am.  I blogged a little in college and no one paid any attention, which is a shame because I was really ambitious back then.  I really think I should have done some advertising or something back then.  Maybe it would have done some good.  

Well, I'm MUCH older now and I do a lot for work...

  • I run a website Buttas Body Bar, where I peddle all the girlie stuff I love.  Sunglasses, hair, makeup etc.  
    • Currently working on my new fantasy novel series:            Quest for Algernon
      • Book 1 -The Banishment of Zorba
      • Book 2 -The Great Battle
      • Book 3 -Algernon Ever After

So... here is where I get everything all mixed up. I also have a YouTube channel and this blog now.  I want to post everything on YouTube: my life, my feelings on politics, my business, my books, how to's, my "Butta Says" advice column.  I just can't do it all!  IS there even enough time in a day?  I guess we'll just have to see.

Reading to write... what's involved? (Part Two) Q2: What sets my writing apart from everyone else's? Mostly planning. If you have a handle on the English language, to include grammar and spelling, you've got half of the battle won. Next you'll need a good plot with plenty of conflict – whether it's moral, societal, supernatural or whatever you choose, there has to be something that makes your characters push for change or revolution.
